Have you ever thought about how safe, prepared or how your organization would respond to workplace violence? The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health looks at workplace violence in four categories: criminal intent, customer or client, worker-on-worker and personal relationship. The National Safety Council reports that each year, millions of American workers report having been victims of workplace violence. In 2017, assaults resulted in 18,400 injuries and 458 fatalities.

She is also an occupational health nurse and certified professional ergonomist with over 27 years of experience in industrial and health care ergonomics. She shares strategies to identify the risk factors associated with workplace aggression and available resources to support safer practices
